My love for kaftans began at an early age.

My wardrobe was never complete without them — each one crafted in different fabrics, colours, and designs, all uniquely my own.

Growing up in Malawi, with its warm, humid climate, kaftans became my daily go-to: easy to wear, effortlessly elegant, and beautifully breathable.

I even had special designs made for the beach — the perfect combination of comfort and style.

Over the years, I began to notice a pattern. Wherever I went, people would stop me and ask, “Where did you get that?” That simple question planted a seed: if kaftans could bring me so much joy, why not create a collection that could share that same effortless elegance with others?

From that vision, Aneese was born.
